Malhar Shah has over 16 years of experience in the areas of engineering, marketing, and product management. Malhar co-founded Crest Data Systems with the intent of providing quality services in the Data Center segment. Prior to that, Malhar was with Insieme BU (acquired by Cisco in 2013) responsible for WW Channels enablement and Business Operations for Nexus 9K & ACI product-line. Before Insieme, Malhar led Product Management as Sr. Director of Product Management for Cisco’s Server Access Virtualization BU (Nuova Systems acquisition in 2008) where he helped grow Data Center Switching (Nexus 2K/3K/4K/5K/6K) business from inception to $1.5B+ annual revenue. Prior to that he was responsible for Product Management of Force10 Networks’ (acquired by Dell) S-Series product-line. Malhar has also held various engineering positions at Cisco’s highly successful Catalyst 6500 and Voice Technology group.
Malhar holds a bachelor’s engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Gujarat University, India and a Master’s degree in Computer Networking from North Carolina State University. Malhar has received several awards including Cisco’s Pioneer award for helping develop networking solution for Cisco’s Unified Compute System (UCS)
