JOB DESCRIPTION:

Crest Data Systems is seeking a Director of Business Development for International Markets who can sell solutions and services to the North American, European and Australian clients. The interested candidate will be required to have a strong technical background and business acumen to build a strong ground sales team, generate leads, build relationships with clients and ensure successful closures of sales opportunities with our strategic customers and partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Identify, develop, and close opportunities with existing and new customers
  • Operate as primary interface with customers for technical and business discussions
  • Articulate the value proposition within the customer organization at all levels
  • Build relationships with customers and partners to make Crest a strategic partner
  • Coordinate with internal teams / resources to build an effective customer solution
  • Build a dynamic and highly capable team that has diverse expertise in Data Center technologies such as Data Analytics, Big Data, Networking/SDN, Storage, Security, Virtualization, Cloud Computing, and Hyper-converged Infrastructure.
  • Act as the primary interface for coordinating project delivery through regular updates and managing right expectations across all stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in electrical/computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of business development or sales experience and 2+ years of sales management experience in Enterprise Software product or services company
  • Proven experience in building strong relationships with clients / partners
  • Comfortable in engaging with customers at technical, program management, and business level
  • Solid experience in building technical and delivery practice by hiring a strong team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong conflict resolution, crisis management, and decision making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
